krystalmadison

Bio: Known as "The Witch of Sleepy Hollow", as a child, Krystal knew that there was more to this physical existence where black and white exist, that there was a gray area many still could not see. But she could. Even as a young child, Krystal was able to see and communicate with those who have crossed over, but at nine years old, a near-death experience thrust her head-first into a world that would make her realize that we really aren't alone. Visions became clearer and made more sense, the spirits that roam the earth would begin to seek her out to relay a message to a loved one she was simply walking past in a super market. She understood even then, that there was more to this life than just existing and believes that we donโ€™t have to live with all the limitations we place on ourselves, nor fear our own mortality. A 10th generation natural born witch with close ties to Salem and New Orleans, Krystal comes from a long line of magickal roots, with grandparents who were Native American and Gypsy, and a mother who was a Santeria Priestess. In May 2012, she founded The Pagan Circle, an online social media community that has grown to 23,000 members world-wide. In May, 2013 the Pagan Circle website was launched. On November 15, 2012, she founded Pagan Parents Online, another social media resource for Pagan Parents. In May 2013, she launched Enchanted Hollows, an online store dedicated to offering hand-made, old-world alchemical and magickal products and in 2014, Deja-Vuduu. Her published works include articles and features in Inner Realm and Wisdom Magazines, and she has made appearances on Darkness Radio, Z-Talk Radio, HEX Education,30-Odd Minutes and other media outlets. Regularly volunteering her time to the Pagan Community, Krystal is also an Ordained Minister and High Priestess of the Raven's Wing Coven in upstate New York, and founder of The Council of the Serment Sacre' (Sacred Oath) the Corvin Method of Witchcraft, and Festival of Witches in Sleepy Hollow, New York as well as playing host to the weekly radio show, "Good Morning Goddess", and Nocturnas Paranormal Radio on Blog Talk Radio. I love your writings. Absolutely fantastic!!!!! For what I have gone through of your work it’s well informed, a veritable mine of information that I have yet to find all in the same place anywhere else. I really appreciate the traditional witch view you have which makes things so much simpler, things that give wiccans the heebie jeebies don’t get swept under the rug. You are awesome! Thank you for taking the time to write and share.

  6. Hello

I’ve read your posts about the 3 folds law and it raised a question for me about traditional witches. You’ve posted not believing in the three folds law. That if someone messes with you then you retaliate. I get it-that part. I’m confused about karma based on different things I’ve been reading. Do you mean karma, from your experience, doesn’t exist or that you know how to protect yourself from “bad karma”? Thanks for the clarification.

    • Karma, the way it is used isn’t retaliatory. Your actions in this life determine the quality of your next, as well as your exit from the present one. That is karma.

When misfortune boomerangs back at someone, that is universal balance. Lucky streaks don’t last for those who rest on their laurels, just as reigns of terror by someone who thrives on chaos cannot go on forever before that energy turns on them. I believe the only power different types of rules have over a person is the power they give it. What you think about, you bring about. If you have conditioned your thoughts to failure for example, then surely you will do just that. But if you condition your thoughts to succeed, you will find that only the sky is the limit. And so, a person who fears a law created by men (respectively) but then chooses his will over that law will live in fear of the retribution his own mind allowed fear to create.

I also do not always retaliate. Sometimes, you can see quite clearly that you need not do a thing to the person who has harmed or wronged you, as what they are doing to themselves and can’t see is far worse than anything I could inflict. In those instances, patience becomes my most trusted companion, and if I am lucky enough to catch the show, I’ll pull up a chair ๐Ÿ˜‰

      Great question!
